Host a Fundraising Event
The HealthWell Foundation greatly appreciates the support from our friends who host fundraising events on behalf of those children, adults and seniors we help. If you would like to host a fundraiser to benefit the HealthWell Foundation, please call us at 240-632-5300 to discuss your ideas.
Workplace Giving
Employees can support the HealthWell Foundation by naming the Foundation as a recipient of a workplace campaign contribution. Many employers will match personal gifts made by their employees, sometimes even offering to triple an employee’s personal donation. These matching gifts may be available to spouses of employees, retirees, and spouses of retirees. Please contact your Human Resource Department to find out if your company offers a workplace giving program or if they will match your gift to the HealthWell Foundation. Payroll Deduction
Did you know that many employers allow you to donate to non-profit organizations through payroll deduction? Ask your human resources or accounting representative about this option and if allowed, please consider adding the HealthWell Foundation to your payroll deduction.
Appreciated Stock
A gift of appreciated stock and mutual funds to HealthWell can provide tax advantages. Please consult your financial planner or tax advisor to determine how these potential tax advantages apply to your specific situation. To make a stock donation to HealthWell ask your financial advisor to contact our Development Office at support@healthwellfoundation or (240) 632-5300.
United Way
Although the HealthWell Foundation is not a United Way agency, you may write in our name as one of your designated charities and they will forward your gift to us. Just write HealthWell Foundation and list our address: 20440 Century Blvd., Ste. 250, Germantown, MD 20874.

Host an Auction
Do you hold auctions on eBay? Choose to donate between 10-100% of the proceeds of your auction items to the HealthWell Foundation through the eBay Giving Works program.
Sellers
- List the item on eBay.
- Select the HealthWell Foundation as your designated charity
- Choose the percentage of proceeds you want to donate (10-100%)
- Once the item sells, you will receive a fee credit for every eBay Giving Works donation and a tax receipt.
Buyers
- Look up HealthWell Foundation on www.ebaygivingworks.com
- Choose an item to purchase from one of our auctions
- Seller will donate a percentage of the sales price to HealthWell
- The item is mailed to you.
