Alliance Partner Spotlight
We are pleased to shine a spotlight on our Alliance Partners that do so much to support our common patient communities and our mission.
International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation
The International Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia Foundation (IWMF) is dedicated to finding a cure for Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia (WM). To ensure no patient or caregiver faces this journey alone, the IWMF provides a comprehensive network of support and integrative wellness resources. These initiatives complement our global research efforts, fostering a sense of community and empowering individuals with the knowledge they need to live well with WM.
The International Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia Foundation (IWMF), the only international organization dedicated solely to Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia (WM), is a patient-founded and patient-driven non-profit with a simple but compelling mission: Support and educate everyone affected by WM to improve patient outcomes while advancing the search for a cure
Community Engagement and Support
The HealthWell Foundation is headquartered in Germantown, Maryland, with our contact center located in Frederick. With a dedicated team of over 220 employees, we are proud to be a major employer in the Mid-Maryland region. As part of our commitment to the community, we actively support local events and organizations that align with our mission. Our robust employee volunteer program fosters strong partnerships with area nonprofits that serve individuals with similar health needs, while also raising awareness of our programs and services.
Local Partnerships & Volunteer Impact
Since 2023, our Employee Volunteer Program has supported local non-profit organizations in Frederick and Montgomery counties, including the Frederick Rescue Mission, United Way of Frederick County, Comfort Cases, Blessings in a Backpack, and Girls on the Run.
We have built strong relationships with local non-profits through active involvement with the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and Nonprofit Montgomery, enhancing our community presence.
Our team has participated in community events such as Frederick’s In the Streets, Montgomery County’s Out of the Darkness Walk, the Frederick Community Health Fair, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Frederick, and the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Health & Wellness Fair.

As a trusted non-profit deeply rooted in the community, we welcome opportunities to engage, participate and build meaningful connections.
