Before you begin the online application process, please take a moment to review our application instructions below.
- If you have not yet contacted the manufacturer of your medication to ask about possible assistance through them, we ask that you please do so before you apply to HealthWell for assistance. This will be one of the questions in your online application. Most drug manufacturers (pharmaceutical companies) offer Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) for insured patients who cannot afford their medications. In many cases, these drug manufacturer PAPs offer MORE assistance than what HealthWell can offer. If you are not eligible to receive assistance from a manufacturer’s PAP or the HealthWell Foundation, we encourage you to visit our Other Resources page for a list of organizations that may be able to provide assistance.
- Please remember to check our Medications List to ensure the product you are taking is covered under the fund for which you are applying. If your product is not listed under your fund, it is not eligible for reimbursement by the HealthWell Foundation and we cannot award you a grant.
- We kindly ask that you submit your application one time only. Submitting multiple online applications will not expedite approval of your grant and may actually delay the approval process.
